Join us for a bird monitoring walk guided by John Gitsham at Point Sturt Landcare Reserve, Tuesday 21st November, 9:00am to 12:00pm.
We will walk through revegetation that has been undertaken over a number of years through the Coorong, Lower Lakes and Murray Mouth Community Revegetation Project.
Please wear sun and snake safe clothing and bring your own water bottle, camera and/or binoculars. There will be binoculars available if you are new to bird watching.
Please meet at Milang Bakery at 9:00AM and we will travel to the reserve together.
We will be contributing data to the Natural Resources, SAMDB Community Bird Monitoring Program http://www.naturalresources.sa.gov.au/samurraydarlingbasin/get-involved/citizen-science/bird-monitoring.
Fore more information, please contact Jacqui 0400 036 843.
This project is supported by the SA Murray-Darling Basin Natural Resources Management Board through funding from the Australian Government’s National Landcare Programme and the NRM Levies.
