Bird Identification and Monitoring Workshops, Hindmarsh Island

The workshops are for community members who are interested in bird watching and contributing to a new citizen science online database. The workshops cater for novices through to experienced birdwatchers.

Participation will assist with monitoring birds and the overall environmental health of the SA Murray-Darling Basin region. The workshops will teach how to ID different bird species, undertake a survey and contribute meaningful data.

FREE with morning tea and lunch provided. Loan sets of binoculars, ID guides and GPS will be supplied. Provided by Natural Resources, SA Murray Darling Basin.
