Come and join us for an evening with Andrew Crompton, an expert on the grasses that are indigenous to our area.
This workshop is aimed at people with little knowledge about native grasses – new property owners in particular will benefit from this workshop.
The evening will be divided into two parts.
Part 1 – an overview of native grasses in our area.
- What are native grasses? How do they differ to introduced species?
- How can I tell if I have them on my property?
- What does it mean if I do?
- How can I care for them and encourage them to spread?
Part 2 – a closer look at native grasses.
- Have a closer look at some common native grasses as well as some common introduced grasses.
- Bring along a sample for id.
- Find out how to get more information when you need it.
