If you are a landholder interested in undertaking on-ground works, GWLAP would like to hear from you!
We are currently putting together funding bids for 2016/17, the information you provide will help us build projects that best help landholders undertake sustainable projects on their properties. The types of projects we have previously been able to support include:
- revegetation (planting seedlings or direct seeding)
- weed control
- pest animal control (rabbits, foxes, deer etc)
- fencing to protect revegetation or remnant vegetation
- watercourse rehabilitation
- bushcare
Don’t feel limited by this list however, sound us out, we are always looking for innovative projects that enhance sustainability and protect our natural environment.
For more information or to obtain an expression of interest form, please email Ben Simon or phone him on 8536 5620. Alternatively you can complete the survey form on our Projects page.
GWLAP is typically able to fund projects within the Goolwa to Wellington Local Action Planning region (see map below) but get in touch even if you are outside this zone – if we can’t help you, we might be able to put you in touch with someone who can. We look forward to hearing from you.

August 5, 2015 at 8:21 amAm interested in a reveg project at 190 Wattle Flat Road. Area would need to be fenced off and is a rocky hill top. Pink gums and Odorata are the principal trees. There are antechinus present and Bullock Hill is 1km away by the crow! Maybe get other landholders on board for a corridor? The area badly needs native species.
